Audition Information
Auditions will be held on Tuesday May 24th and Thursday May 26th

Auditions are closed, meaning participants will only be allowed in during their audition time. Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and submit your AUDITION FORM.
Performers should prepare a song selection as well as a monologue that showcases their abilities. The song cut should be 60-90 seconds (approximately 16-32 bars). Please bring music without lyrics. Accompaniment will NOT be provided. No acappela singing will be allowed. Sample monologues can be found on our General Audition Page

Character Breakdown
Caractacus Potts
An eccentric, brilliant, English inventor and loving father and son. His inventions and children are his life.
Gender: Male Age: 40 to 50

Truly Scrumptious
Daughter of the famous candy maker, Lord Scrumptious. Strong and independent, but gentle. Falls in love with Caractacus.

Grandpa Potts
Caractacus Potts's father, who is a former war hero. He loves to tell old War stories. A sort of second father to Jeremy and Jemima.

Baron Bomburst
Tyrannical ruler of Vulgaria and a lover of toys. A man-child, he is very immature, needy, and whiney.

Baroness Bomburst
Head of the Vulgarian Parliament and a hater of children. Tyrannical and dramatic.

The Childcatcher
He makes sure that Vulgaria is child-free. Evil and manipulative. Hates children almost as much as the Baroness.

The Toymaker
With all children outlawed in Vulgaria, this toy-making genius only works for the child-like Baron. Smart but frightened.
